Course Description: As per the catalog, CSC 2260 introduces the fundamentals of operating systems together with the basics of networking and communications.Pre-requisite:C or better in CSC 1750 and CSC 1760.



Course Objectives: CSC 2260 focus on the fundamentals of operating systems, the evolution of operating systems, mobile operating systems, threats and attacks to computers/users, security vulnerabilities, identification and protection, troubleshooting security problems, and the basic principles of networking and wireless communications.
